My experience has taught me this; shipping in pharma is very different to other sectors. It’s not a crazy concept, and it’s actually not wildly complicated, but it is very different from shipping a coat, compared to chemically synthesized materials.

When you send things of the nature and at a volume of pharmaceutical and biotech companies, this becomes a potential nightmare at scale. Not just for the cost, the timelines for research, but also from an auditory perspective. In a world of high regulation, you can’t simply tick the closest thing you think it could be and just hope for the best. Every package has potential consequences.
