Electronic Signature
A deliberate, attributable act by a person to approve or authorise an electronic record, linked to that record so it cannot be transferred.
Under Part 11 a compliant electronic signature shows the signer, date, time and meaning, and is bound to the record, ideally to a hash of its state.
In logistics, shipment approvals and proof of delivery are electronic signatures.
